I have some special moments with my dad that I’ll always treasure. I can still picture that night so clearly. Back in 1994, my mom had to go work in another country, so my younger sister and I were staying with some relatives. My parents were separated, and my dad was busy working on his farm. He would come by every weekend, bringing money for school or groceries, and he often spent time chatting with our relatives. There was a stretch when I didn’t see him for weeks, and it really hurt not being able to talk to him, especially with my mom being away too. Time dragged on without his visits. Then one night, I suddenly heard someone call my name. I recognized my dad's voice immediately, and I jumped out of bed and ran outside to find him. This was the first time I was going to hug him....
